With brand new cooling technology you can spot target stubborn pockets of subcutaneous fat cells that aren't shifting with regular diet and exercise. This can happen as we age or more often results have plateaued despite your health and fitness efforts.
Subcutaneous fat cells are located beneath the dermal layer and may create a dimple effect on the surface of the skin, commonly known as cellulite. Cellulite is a common concern on thighs, hips and stomach but can be found anywhere on the body where there is a build up of toxins being held within the subcutaneous layer.
The body holds onto stubborn pockets of fat as a natural defense reserve to sustain life in the event of famine.
As with all cosmetic treatments, to ensure you get the best results possible we recommend a series of sessions at frequent intervals. We can customise a package of treatments to suit each individual at a discounted price to ensure our valued clients are well looked after.

Electromagnetic Muscle Stimulation (EMMS) is the generic term to describe the latest technology in Electro Magnetic (E.M.) Body sculpting treatments that can go by luxurious labels & trademarks.
Another common term used to describe the treatment is "High Intensity Electromagnetic Therapy" (Hi-EMT) or sometimes "High Intensity Electromagnetic Muscle Trainer"(also abbreviated as HIEMT)
Electro Magnetic Muscle Stimulation involves a virtually painless pulse of electromagnetic energy (measured in units of tesla) that bypasses the skin to induce muscle contractions similar to muscle mechanism during exercise.
A layman might say “it’s like doing sit-ups or squats except they are stronger & faster”
Such electro magnetic contouring/sculpting treatments may be confused with traditional EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) where muscle contractions occur using electrical pulses or TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) which involves the use of mild electrical current to nerves.
However it is interesting to note that many modern abbreviations of "EMMS" has led to this particular treatment being commonly referred to as "E.M." or "E.M.S." for marketing and advertising purposes; especially on social media platforms, irrespective of the brand of equipment being used in treatment.
While EMS (electrical muscle stimulation) contracts muscles longer than what an athlete could do themselves, EMMS (electro magnetic muscle stimulation) also contracts muscle faster than what an athlete could do in the same amount of time.
Electro Magnetic Muscle Stimulation (EMS) is a deep-tissue electro magnetic system that offers intense muscle contractions per session.
The electro magnetic system we have in clinic is designed to be used on abdominals and buttocks with the intended purpose of lifting, toning and tightening.
The industry is already beginning to see modifications of the "paddle" design by savvy engineers and designers worldwide which will allow other areas of the body to be treated in the near future.
The treatment currently involves the paddle/s being applied to the desired area (stomach or buttocks) outside of your own clothing. There is no need to undress; therefore we recommend wearing comfortable active wear such as tights/shorts and t shirt to your appointment.
The appointment involves you (the client) lying down for a period of 30 minutes while the equipment does all the work.
We do not recommend holding your mobile phone during an electro magnetic session as it may cause Electromagnetic Interference (EMI). However we do have phone chargers ready for you, so that you can charge your phone for free during your appointment. Of course, our friendly therapists are always up for a chat to help pass the time.
EMI (electromagnetic interference) is also the reason that clients with pacemakers/heart conditions are not suitable candidates for electro magnetic therapies.

IMPORTANT FACTORS TO CONSIDER:
Does it hurt?
Some people may find it more or less tolerable than others. Be assured your therapist will adjust the intensity level to accommodate your pain threshold without jeopardising your results. Once you become accustomed to the feeling we are able to increase the intensity if you so desire.
Can I still have this treatment when it's that time of the month?
Our Clinic Policy is NO tummy/abdominal treatments during your period. This rule applies for both Fat Freezing and EMMS. Other body areas are OK to treat during your period.
Can I still have EMMS if I have an Intra Uterine Device (IUD)?
YES, But only if your IUD is plastic (such as Mirena). BUT If your IUD is metal/copper we cannot do this treatment on your stomach.
How many sessions will I need?
For Fat Freezing we recommend 4 to 6 sessions. Each session is done 2 to 4 weeks apart depending your customised treatment plan.
For EMMS we recommend 4 sessions over 4 weeks, with a 5th session 6 to 8 weeks after your 4th session. Continued maintenance depends on your personal fitness requirements. You may be recommended to continue with 1 session every 3, 6, 9 or 12 months according to your individual needs and goals.
